I had the opportunity to go to Guatemala just after the volcano eruption this summer to visit my missionary friends, Paul and Thania Heier of Misión Hispana, and hang out with their sweet family. They are doing some beautiful work for the people of in this country and I had a lot of fun documenting some of their current ministry efforts. Here are some photos from our adventures. Everything was covered… from their family life with three silly boys, getting the truck stuck in the river, meeting with community members to assess needs, playing with preschoolers, activities with women and children in a volcano shelter, praying, teaching… just wonderful things that are bringing so much hope to this region.
