75th Birth Celebration | The Birth Story of Atticus Gabriel | Jacksonville Birth Photographer

What a swift and joyful birth this was as Ashley and Joshua welcomed their fourth baby! The dynamic between the two of them was so fun and the room was full of laughter throughout the day. This was the 75th birth I’ve documented and it was such a delight to be a part of!

This mama welcomed her surges and held strong through them. She utilized the tub in the room at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine to help ease the sensations as their baby made his way down. Ashley was incredibly brave and didn’t request medication. She truly believed in her ability to birth her baby in the way she desired and it was a beautiful thing to see.

They chose to not find out the gender of this baby going into the birth. After three boys, they were quite surprised to find out this little one was also a boy (see his dad’s reaction below)! The look on Ashley’s face as she met her son was incredibly precious and one of my favorite moments that I documented that day. Once Joshua got through the initial shock of having yet another son, he had the sweetest gaze as he admired his adorable little boy.

The significance of the work I get to do is not lost on me and I can hardly believe I’ve been a part of 75 births already! I am so grateful for each family that invites me to be on their birth team.
