Birth Story : Annabelle | Jacksonville Birth Photographer

This beautiful family welcomed little Annabelle Ruth at UF Health Shands Gainesville on a sweet September afternoon. Melissa and Mike have such a fun relationship - her extraversion is a perfect match for his introversion and they were so silly and warm with each other. Their deep faith was a huge part of this birth story and it was precious to watch. I loved getting to hear their story.

Melissa worked hard to bring their baby girl into this world. The nurses, Becky and Kit, were there for the whole journey that day and they were amazing! Such sweet care! Midwife Bree got to deliver Annabelle and she did an incredible job assisting Melissa through her contractions. The joy they had when Annabelle arrived was felt by all that were present. So many tears. So much gratefulness. “I never thought I’d be a mom again” were Melissa’s words just after Annabelle was born. Both Melissa + Mike were so thankful to be together and build upon their blended family. Melissa told me how Mike’s daughter talked about how Annabelle ties them all together even more. Just beautiful.
